Shores of Lake Waconia is a unique project launched by Rachel Development in the fall of 2019. The existing site is a 51 acre property with 1,100 feet of lakeshore on Lake Waconia. There are 37 lots on the west side of CR 92 to be built by Charles Cudd Co and 50 lots across the road to be built by M/I Homes. The Rachel crews started with a large soil correction along the lakeshore. This involved exporting 20,000 cy of black dirt and importing sand for the new lake lots. Mass grading, utilities, street construction, and landscaping will continue in the Spring of 2020 and last through most of the summer.
