Rachel Contracting was recognized this past week for our commitment to safety as a CHASE Level 3 participant in AGC’s Construction Health and Safety Excellence partnership with Minnesota OSHA! Our dedication to jobsite safety and participation in AGC’s CHASE Program has proven once again that we are “committed to safety.”

Rachel Contracting is proud to announce we have been awarded the Minnesota Safety Council Governor’s Safety Award of Honor in Occupational Safety! For the third straight year, we were recognized for our team’s excellence in workplace safety and health. We are deeply humbled and grateful of this team effort!

Since 1934, the annual Governor’s Safety Awards program has honored Minnesota employers with exceptional safety performance. Applicants are judged on several years of injury data as it compares with their industry’s national statistics, and on their progress in implementing a comprehensive safety program.

The week of March 6th, 2022 was Women in Construction week- Rachel Contracting is very proud of the incredible women we work with everyday in the office and in the field. We appreciate all that they do!

At the annual National Demolition Association Convention, the Rachel Team was awarded the Michael J. Casbon Safety Award – the award honors the legacy of the late Mike Casbon, an expert with 25 years of experience in the fields of demolition, decontamination, and construction. The intention of this award is to honor companies that have demonstrated excellence in safety.

We thank the The National Demolition Association for recognizing Rachel Contracting as a safety leader in demolition! And a congratulation is in order for all demolition award winners!

The Rachel Foundation hosted the 1st Annual Black Ice Jig Ice Fishing contest on Sugar Lake in Annandale, MN! More than 400 people braved the cold weather to support the Rachel Foundation and raise money to give back to the local communities. Over 30 generous companies helped to support the event and make it a success. Lots of fun was had by all that attended and volunteered, and together we raised over $34,000 for the Rachel Foundation!

The AGC of Minnesota recognized the Rachel Team with the 2021 CHASE Level 2 status along with Level 3 Projects!  Kindeva and the UMN Mech Eng Phase 3 were both CHASE level 3 projects. 

This prestigious award speaks volumes to the amount of time and resources that Team Rachel invests on safety training and safety excellence.  By having all employees and trade partners engaged in our safety culture, we are able to maintain an incredibly low Experience Modification Rate (EMR) and Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR).
