Rachel teamed up with Adolfson & Peterson Construction to provide both the demolition and earthwork services for the new Aurora on France. Crews cleared the way by demolishing the existing building on the site and then performed the excavation and grading for the new building. Rachel was allowed total access of the site to export 12,000 CY of soil, perform soil corrections, common excavation and earth retention installed by LH Bolduc along France Ave. The building included 1 story below grade parking and 5 above grade stories for senior housing. Footing excavation & backfilling was a large portion of this project, which Rachel Contraction excelled at. Utilizing other nearby Rachel job sites was a key component to the success of this job. Aurora on France will finish up with site paving, retaining wall and infiltration pond work.
