Rachel Contracting was awarded this project as the lowest bidder. Our scope included our core services: demo, dirt & pipe. In the Summer of 2022, we started by demolishing an existing wing of the school. Earthwork crews mobilized and started mass grading the two acre site which included soil correcting 10′ deep below the proposed building addition to prepare it for foundations. Once completed we imported 8,000 of granular fill to raise the grades to match the existing elevations. Rachel utility crews will mobilize in the Spring of 2023 to begin working on the underground utilities that include two large underground systems to manage stormwater.
