The Kindeva project is located at the intersection of Hudson Rd and Settlers Ridge Pkwy. This project is the 1st PH of a site development by Ryan Companies. The original start date to break ground was Sept. 14th, however we didn’t get the green light until Oct. 26th. This began the race against the clock with temps dropping and the ground starting to freeze. With supporting equipment working with five tractor and pans, the earthwork crew was able to complete the pad ready operations 1.5 weeks ahead of schedule. In another week the majority of the 108,000 CY of common excavation was complete! The utility crew began work on the 32′ sanitary connection to the existing Met Council line and continued it to the property. Both on site and off-site utility operations were taking place at once. Water was brought to the property via directional drilling and the remaining site utilities were being installed through 8-12″ of frost. Both the earthwork and utility crews made a challenging late fall start – look easy!
