Located on the south side of the Highwood Mountains, steep grades and mountainous terrain presented a great challenge to the field team as they battled through rocks, rattle snakes, and surprise inclement weather. They constructed 10 miles of access roads and graded areas for 29 new wind towers. The Rachel crew at South Peak was able to perform 240,000 CY of grading in the same amount of time we originally anticipated to perform 49,000 CY of grading! Still meeting the scheduled deadlines that we needed to achieve from the start of the project.
